Senior Software Engineer Full Time Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD TS/SCI Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software. * Participate in the development of test strategies, devices, and systems. * Solve engineering problems or manage the solution of engineering problems. * Software engineering - responsible for software requirements, design, documentation, risks, quality System documentation (Engineering artifacts, contract artifacts, requirements traceability, manuals) * Assist in the definition and programming of complex enterprise software solutions. * Work effectively on several phases of systems/software programming/analysis with little direction, but may require some instruction and guidance for other aspects Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University. Four (4) additional years of qualified professional experience can be substituted for a degree. * Minimum of nine (9) years of related professional work experience within the past fifteen (15) years. * Thirteen (13) years of professional experience are required without a qualifying degree. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline. * Preferred knowledge of RedHat Linux, Puppet, Windows Server, and VMWare applications. * Current industry recognized Computing Environment (CE) certifications (eg MCSE, RHCSA). * Current CompTIA Security+ or other IAT-II qualified certification. * Past experience working on DoD or US Army Intelligence systems, especially DCGS-A.
