Provides nursing services such as pregnancy testing and counseling, maternity services, public health assessment, international travel vaccinations, refugee services, sexually transmitted disease treatment and follow-up, HIV testing and counseling, tuberculosis screening and treatment, adult and childhood immunizations to individuals, families, and targeted at-risk populations in the clinic setting.

This position includes a signing bonus of $2,000 for new hires.
Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a college or university accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education with a bachelor's degree in Nursing; plus one year post-licensure nursing experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Possession of current license or a multistate licensure privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Driver's license
AED-Required within 60 days
CPR -Required within 60 days
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of post-licensure experience working as a registered nurse in a fast-paced clinical setting. Experience working with diverse populations. Phlebotomy experience. Experience using a team approach for service delivery.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a sanction screening, a child protective services, and a driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.
All newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two weeks after the last required dose) as a condition of employment or obtain approval of a medical or religious exemption prior to their start date. Proof of an exemption or vaccination status will be required during the pre-employment onboarding process. New employees who obtain an exemption from the vaccine mandate for medical or sincerely held religious beliefs may be subject to a weekly testing requirement. Vaccinated employees and employees with a medical or religious exemption will complete the attestation online on their first day of employment or shortly thereafter.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee is required to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs and carry equipment or young children up to 25 pounds in weight. Uses hands to grasp, handle or feel. Visual acuity is required to read data on a computer monitor. Ability to operate keyboard driven equipment. Ability to drive a vehicle. Position frequently communicates and must be able to exchange accurate information with others verbally and in writing. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
