We are looking for someone passionate about digital quality, process and efficiency, as well as someone who enjoys working with developers to ensure high quality digital experiences. This Manual QA Tester will help execute processes to ensure quality and timeliness for features to our digital and community experiences, as well as our Marketing Technology. The Digital Team in Marketing supports Appian's digital properties, like our website, Appian Community, Appian Community Edition, the Appian AppMarket, and more. The Digital Team also supports the technology and processes that support our internal marketing operations. As a delivery specialist, you will work with web and Appian developers alike to ensure quality code and features are built for our end user experiences.

To be successful in this role, you need:
  • A strong work ethic, working day-to-day with Software Developers and Application Developers to ensure they are building bug-free code.
  • To test and troubleshoot new features and experiences from a multitude of dimensions: functional, systems integration, GUI, database, and regression.
  • Creativity to build, maintain and improve manual test artifacts for rapid and efficient reuse.
  • Interest and aptitude web application testing frameworks.
  • To have an eye for detail when reviewing, testing and ensuring quality of plug-ins and utilities submitted to the Appian AppMarket.
  • Experience with agile development (Jira)

Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, or otherwise demonstrated aptitude for technology.
  • 2-3 years of relevant technical experience
  • Experience with Manual Testing
