The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. How you will make an impact- Organize exit interviews and procedures- Enhance the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices- Support employees such that they follow all policies and procedures- Set up management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures- Analyze reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs- Oversee all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team- Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records- Be present at interdepartmental meetings with other managers- Oversee human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees- Investigate compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits- Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws- Research and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings Requirements -Spanish language proficiency is required - Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure- Highly organized and self-motivated- 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources- An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations- 5+ years in human resources- Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant experience- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well- PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired- Knowledge of HR software and working knowledge of MS Office- Ability to view issues with an objective lens- Accomplished in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion- Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolutionRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
