OverviewSQL Server Database Administrator AvalonBay is seekingSQL Database Administrator to support AvalonBay's SQL Server base applications.Hosted on AWS, Azure and Infrastructure Hosted in traditional data center. Job Functions: Database Administration for the SQL Server 2012 and above (Maintenance, Security, Upgrades, Performance Tuning, etc.) -Experience installing, Configuring and Upgrading SQL Server/Applying Service Packs -Server and Database Security Administration -SQL Server Replication Designing SQL Server Systems and Implement -A good knowledge of the physical database design -Create database objects (tables, indexes, etc.) -Write database procedures, functions and triggers -Tune database queries, tuning and Monitoring SQL Server As a DBA, he/she will be responsible for monitoring and maintenance of SQL Server database and troubleshoot problems that arise. He/she will need to do successfully complete administrative work such as patching, performance tuning, etc. Other responsibilities could include: installing and troubleshooting SQL servers, applying service packs and security fixes, setup database maintenance plans to reorganize indexes, monitoring and managed SQL Agent Job, Activity Monitor, QA and development database environments, analyzing queries and tune them to optimize application and system performance. - Three years of SQL DBA experience. -Oracle Database knowledge preferred.- Knowledge on WebLogic and IIS preferred. - Bachelor's Degree preferred.
