Description Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This dynamic department will provide you with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a permanent position based in the Herndon, Virginia area.Responsibilities- Provide support to internal business partners- Accomplish full-cycle A/P- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Provide support during internal and external audits- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail Requirements - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds- Data entry experience required- Accounts Payable (AP) experience- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must- Competent with spreadsheets and databases Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
