Our client in Mclean, VA is looking to add a Property Accountant to their team. Property Accountant Location: Mclean VA - in office Compensation: $35-38 / hour - Salary $75000 - $85000 (depending on experience) Job Responsibilities:*Property Accountant will have active communication with properties managers pertaining to daily operations*Responsible for monthly and year-end reconciliation and closing for assigned properties: retail, residential or commercial*Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial statements*Deliver consistently high quality and timely reporting*Property Accountant is responsible for preparing annual CAM reconciliations.*Property Accountant must maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation calculations.*Integrate acquisitions into accounting and reporting frameworks*Analyze and interpret operating and financial information regarding profitability, capital expenditures, and performance against budget Requirements:*Property Accountant must have experience with: daily bank/account reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger maintenance*Must have 3-5 years' accounting experience*Experience in the property management/ construction industry*Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting*Property Accountant must have working knowledge of property software systems
