SummaryThe MIL Corporation seeks a Help Desk Support II - Cabling Technician to support a Federal government client at one of our Washington, DC Metropolitan area locations.ResponsibilitiesExperience installing Cat5e and Cat6 cabling systems in existing network environment Experience with termination and testing of new cablingLabel cables for future identificationOperates a variety of tools, such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipmentKeeps cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standardProvides documentation of all information on all cables and equipmentCompletes required paperwork, such as: installation checklist, timesheets, service orders, and various other logsMaintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate mannerAbility to stand on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
