Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Wholesale Parts Associate to join our team. This position will be the direct contact for all of our wholesale accounts. The ideal candidate will be energetic, have a positive attitude, and provide exceptional customer service to all our customers. If this sounds like you, apply now! Responsibilities * Oversees and is responsible for the daily operation of the wholesales department, including, but not limited to: wholesale personnel s conduct, productivity and professionalism when interacting with wholesale accounts and fellow personnel * Ensure wholesale accounts are receiving a prompt, courteous and professional level of service from wholesale personnel * Solicit new business opportunities via direct mailings, phone sales, and in-person sales calls * Build strong positive relationships with current wholesale accounts * Assist the parts manager in the hiring and disciplinary actions pertaining to wholesale staffing * Takes and fills wholesale parts orders in person or via telephone * Ensures proper billing for part sold * Follows up with charge customers when payments are due * Keeps a level of security for parts inventory * Assists in keeping inventory orderly * Maintains a clean and safe work area Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred) * Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment * Strong interpersonal and time management skills * Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents * Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume * Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Benefits * Health, Vision and Dental Insurance * Paid Training * Career Advancement * 401(K) with profit sharing We believe in investing in our employees from the very beginning.
