We strive to create a rewarding work environment, promote a culture of teamwork, and provide opportunities for professional development.Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is looking for a Fuel and Lube Truck Driver.Qualifications:Class B CDLTanker and HAZMAT endorsementsManual Transmission, preferredClean Driving Record (No major traffic violations, tickets or accidents for the last 5 years.)Must pass pre-employment DOT physical/drug screeningAbility to lift 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basisAbility to pass background checks for secure facility accessResponsibilities:Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines.Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspection and maintain inspection reports.Maintain daily mileage and fuel dispense logs.Safely operate commercial vehicle while driving and maneuvering in a variety of situations, such as heavy traffic, construction sites, and tight areas within Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.Refuel heavy equipment using diesel fuel.Daily greasing of all heavy equipment wear parts and grease fittings.Fluid top-offs as need.Maintain assigned vehicle(s) to a high standard of cleanliness.Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met.Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers.Job Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundLocation: Lorton, VirginiaWorking Hours: Start time is 5:00 AM.
