It has successfully completed the construction of over 109 plants with a capacity of more than 2,5 GW. In the business line of O&M, GRS operates more than 2 GW. The GRS strategy is to develop, build and operate a balanced portfolio of large-scale solar projects to meet the growing demand for clean and sustainable electricity at highly competitive prices.In this moment we are looking for an HSE Manager for a PV Plant that we are going to buld in Charles Town - West Virginia.Duties and ResponsabilitiesImplement Gransolar's approach to construction of working together to achieve zero harm.Assure contractors' compliance to HSE requirements by implementing Gransolar's HSSE Program.Encourage an open attitude towards reporting of incidents and creating an environment for discussions of incidents, their causes and recommendations.Incentivize worker uptake of safe working practices.Register all incidents in Gransolar's incident register, perform investigations or contribute to Contractors' investigations to understand the causes and influencing factors. Ensure that recommendations are implemented, and shared across the portfolio of projects to prevent recurrence.Ensure a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices.Carry out and document daily HSE inspections and facilitate for weekly, monthly management safety walks.Plan and carry out weekly HSE coordination meetings with all contractors, participate in weekly construction coordination meetings.Ensure that Contractors' training and awareness programs are carried out as plannedReview Method Statements incl. risk assessments, and ensure that contractors involve workers in Job Safety Analyses.Establish and implement a program of examinations to document contractors' compliance.Assist with monitoring of contractors' implementation of environmental requirements.Act on occasion as the Community Liaison Officer.Requirements5 years' experience as an HSE lead or manager on Solar Power projects or similar.Related academic background or technical training with strong knowledge of HSE issues in the power generation or construction field.Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level, OSHA certification.Certified Safety Professionals (CSP).Completed course:OSHA #500: Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction IndustryOSHA #501: Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
