A$ A' "A' ?DFS Construction is seeking an Estimator to join the Estimating/Pre-Construction department. In this role the desired candidate should be able to carry out the following responsibilities:Ability to read/comprehend construction documents/drawingsAbility to scope/analyze drawings and perform takeoffsCreate/Compile RFI's to submit to the CM, Client, or Project Team.Level/vet subcontractor proposalsPrepare commercial interior budgetsAttend Pre-Construction meetings/walkthroughsDistribute RFP/Documents to the appropriate subcontractors/tradesDevelop relationships with subcontractorsResearch material pricing and specificationsPerform any additional duties related to Estimating/Pre-ConstructionA' Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Similar Field.3-5 years' experience in commercial interiors' construction with a General Contractor.Experience with Bluebeam or similar takeoff software, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated experience in the Pre-Construction process.
