A$ A' "A' ?Title: Compensation ManagerLocation: McLean, VA - (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Duration: Permanent/Full-timeOverviewAs the Manager, Compensation, you are responsible for the delivery of our compensation programs for employees around the world, partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver data-driven pay strategies that enable client's industry-leading culture and business needs, while being mindful of trends in the marketplace.You will be responsible for communicating, implementing and maintaining global compensation plans and practices for the company, including, salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives and business-specific sales and specialized incentive programs. You will be responsible for leading the annual sales incentive plan design process.In partnership with the HRIS team, you will lead automation and process improvement initiatives to streamline administration and enhance customer service. This role manages a small team of compensation analysts.This role requires that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks while being resourceful and collaborative.Are you up to the challenge?As a leader, championing change, drive a high-performance culture in support of the overall client vision and pro-actively contribute to development of the HR strategy and objectivesLead direct reports and matrixed teams to success based on SMART goals established in support of the human resources goalsProvide oversight of compensation function including salary survey participation, job evaluation, salary recommendations for new hires and internal promotions, salary structure analysis and maintenance, annual compensation cycle and QA processConsult with HR Business Partners and management to develop compensation solutions, practices and plans that support a strong market-based pay for performance environmentManage, develop, and coach the compensation team to provide high quality and timely deliverables to our customersManage Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) quarterly payout administration, and annual design in consultation with commercial and finance team stakeholders and executive managementOversee and ensure compliant administration of the Company long-term incentive plan; ensuring accuracy of participant records and adherence to SOX controlsDevelop incentive plan cost models in support of short-term and long-term incentive design efforts; influence and support design effortsManage monthly accruals, annual budgeting and ad hoc FP&A forecast requestsAdminister compensation plans and payouts in accordance with SOX and audit controlsIdentify opportunities to automate and streamline administrative processes, in support of ongoing digital transformation initiatives (eg, with iPeople).Provide analytics support and data analysis on ad hoc projectsLead, manage, and participate in departmental projects, task forces, special assignmentsActively support workplace diversity initiativesYou should have:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalentSeven (7) or more years of relevant experience in Compensation with strong competency in compensation programs and principles; includes minimumone (1) year of sales compensation experiencetwo (2) years of lead / supervisory experienceStrong analytics, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication and partnering skills to evaluate data, provide recommendations and design programsDemonstrated ability to apply compensation knowledge, philosophy, best practices, and sound decision-making processes to current and proposed compensation programsStrategic thinker and demonstrated knowledge and experience of competitive comp strategy and practices in broad-based, executive and sales incentive plan designDemonstrated ability to draw conclusions, themes and trends from data analysis and communicate results to senior managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to translate quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiencesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis of dataDemonstrated track record of handling sensitive information with discretionAbility to handle multiple projects / tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlinesCCP designation a plusIt would be nice if you had:Executive compensation experienceInternational compensation experience
