For 40 years, our trusted and impartial processes have been used by many businesses needing a dispute resolution mechanism to resolve their customer disputes. O ur out-of-court services are offered in three major industries: automotive, telecommunications and class actions.YOUR IMPACTAs a Compliance Manager, you will work directly with BBB National Programs Dispute Resolution leadership to provide guidance for our dispute resolution programs, including BBB AUTO LINE.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPartner with leadership to monitor for and identify potential risks and gaps in compliance Coordinate the implementation of policies and procedures to verify legal and regulatory complianceConduct employee training on compliance and policy topics as needed Serve as liaison, communicating with external auditors to facilitate required audits, including obtaining necessary documentation from external and internal stakeholdersRespond to requests and inquiries from regulatory authorities in a timely and professional mannerConduct legal research on a variety of matters, including dispute resolution, trademarks, lemon law, and complianceUpdate existing legal resources for both internal and external documents, and create new documents as neededDraft, edit, and review contract templates, training resources, and other key documents Assist Assistant General Counsel with preparing responses to subpoenas What You Will Bring Must have: Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience3+ years of compliance experienceAbility to analyze and synthesize information with strong problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to instill compliance practices Excellent verbal and interpersonal skillsStrong writing, editing, and organizational skillsSolid project management skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Excellent time management skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong Microsoft Office 365 skillsCOVID-19 Vaccination Let us know if you have: Fortune 500, Big 4 firm, or law firm experience WHAT WE OFFER:At BBB National Programs, we bring a growth mindset as we advance our mission and strive to foster trust, innovation, and competition in the marketplace while cultivating a team of talented and engaged professionals who seek out new challenges and opportunities to catalyze our progress.
