A$ A' "A' ?Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manages the performance and risk of all developmental activities by the air system contractor (ASC) & Propulsion System Contractor (PSC) in terms of cost, schedule, and performance Ensures that all program participants, both Government, ASC, and PSC organizations, are advised of the status and progress of work efforts under the incumbent's cognizanceSupports in evaluating program documentation to ensure that the needs of the program are consistent with sound business practices and the degree of risk involved Synthesizes critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information to support program reviews Analyzes needs and synthesizes requirements. Participates in Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Training System Review Teams (TSRT), Training Working Groups (TWG) Training Advisory Council (TAC) Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), and Quarterly In-process Review's (IPR) with each PSC Prepares comprehensive program plans for accomplishing training program goals and schedules with the MxS Training Lead. Reviews and prepares documents, specifications, requirements, criteria, and standards, which define the needs, and parameters of the program Plans, resources, and implements a cohesive integrated strategy to train military personnel to maximize the effectiveness of doctrine, manpower, and personnel, to fight, operate, and maintain the equipment throughout the life cycle Plans, resources, and implements management actions to identify, develop, and acquire Training Aids and Devices to maximize the effectiveness of the manpower and personnel to sustain equipment at the lowest Total Ownership Cost (TOC). Coordinates maintenance training program efforts with other activities and personnel directly assigned or detailed to support the program. Provides recommendations to higher program authority for the need to redirect efforts, pursues additional lines of investigation, and similar matters Serves as the central contact point within the program office for all matters concerning the Air Vehicle and Propulsion Training system Interprets program management policies and procedures to others as required. Provides advice to higher level officials on program status and on problems that require resolution or adjustments for Foreign Military Sales customers Develops critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information needed to support program reviews Manages the development of Air Vehicle and Propulsion Training System. Analyzes and evaluates studies conducted by contractor and Government activities for assigned projects to determine training, and training equipment, requirements Assists the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) and Systems Approach to Training (SAT) expertise for Partner Provides briefings on Air Vehicle and Propulsion Training status, specific accomplishments, anticipated deficiencies, ISD support requirements, courseware, training devices, and training systems objectives to the T&M IPT & Propulsion IPT Leadership. Serves as technical point of contact in assigned areas for major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other evaluations and designated events Provides recommendations with respect to anticipated training problems related to manpower, workload, or workload priorities Provides recommendations and documentation to T&M regarding current service Training policies, procedures, and systems Identifies training tasks, materials, facilities, and personnel necessary to support the Test and Evaluation process Capture training requirement for all Partners and coordinate training dates utilizing the Resource Scheduling Working Group and Academic Training CenterMinimum Skills & RequirementsBaccalaureate degreeAircraft Maintenance Training BackgroundDAWIA Certification Level II in Life Cycle Logistics within 2 yearsConfiguration management experienceExperience with Microsoft Office productsSECRET security clearanceExcellent communication skillsTravel is 10-15%Desired Skills & RequirementsMaster's degree in systems management or a related technical fieldMajor Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) experienceExperience developing & delivering Military TrainingSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE US GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE US CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A US GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELAbout UsScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
