The Community Liaison is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility's services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team, the Community Liaison presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community.The Community Liaison is responsible for implementing the facility's strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Community Liaison must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:Good verbal and written skills.A' Skills in public speaking and problem solution.A' Excellent customer service skills.A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations or related field is required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.This position does require travel, both in town and throughout the region, so a valid Driver's License is required.Key Responsibilities:A' 1.A' A' A' A' A' A' Assists the Director of Business Development in developing and implementing a strategic plan to promote the services offered atA' North Spring Behavioral HealthcareA' to all potential referral sources in a manner consistent with the mission and vision of the hospital.2.A' A' A' A' A' A' Travels regionally to maintain a database of healthcare professionals.A' 3.A' A' A' A' A' A' Responsible for growing patient census by consistently exploring the development of new referral sources, maintaining and managing existing accounts, identifying referral source needs and tailoring services to meet those needs.4.A' A' A' A' A' A' Coordinates with the Director of Business Development with on-going updates of the Referral Source Data Base.5.A' A' A' A' A' A' Coordinates with the Admissions Department efforts to follow up with all referral sources regarding referrals and admissions.6.A' A' A' A' A' A' Performs other duties as assigned.
