They are looking for an experienced leader with a strong technical aptitude who loves to learn and improve different processes, products, and share ideas and insights through partnership with others. A collaborative leader who works with others to meet business commitments will succeed in this role.Food manufacturing operations experience in a plant is required. You will provide leadership to the plant production, quality, and maintenance departments to assure a high quality, low cost finished product. You'll have frequent interactions with executives, and you'll directly manage 6 supervisors and their teams (eg, operations, sanitation, engineering, quality engineering, maintenance).This role will set you on the path to plant manager positions. We will share company name and full role details with qualified candidates.ResponsibilitiesChange management and continuous improvementDaily operations, including leadership and direction to the operations teamLead daily production meetingsMaximize efficiency throughout the plant through design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategiesMeet safety, quality, cost, delivery, volume, and production goalsQualificationsMinimum 6+ years' of experience in a manufacturing environment (eg, food & beverage, consumer goods, chemicals), including at least 3 years of supervisory experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Finance, or related fieldStrong knowledge of Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) methodsLean or Six Sigma knowledge helpfulAnalytical and quantitative approach to problem solvingExcellent communication skills
