Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Human Resource Manager for our Human Resource Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Human Resource Manager you will:

• Under the general direction of the Senior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner.
• Will provide direct oversight of the HR Generalist and HR Coordinators within the hospital and provide consultative services to all levels in the organization; executives, directors, managers and supervisors.
• Will be a member of Adventist HealthCare's (AHC) HR Business Partner team and Network Policy team to create and implement HR strategies and policy administration for Adventist HealthCare.
• Will collaborate with our HR system teams and lead in assisting employees at all aspects in the areas of talent acquisition and management, workforce planning and development, leadership development, employee engagement strategies, performance management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, compensation, requisition management and employee safety.
• Specializing in employee relations, employee engagement and regulatory compliance.
• Assist and Lead HR Generalist with managing incoming request and employee relations concerns
• Build and sustain strong business relationships with leadership in the entities supported; involve them in defining deliverables
• Consult, develop and coach employees providing direction, guidance and support related to HR programs.
• Plan and design initiative-focused communications and tools to support client-focused action planning including but not limed to: Employee Engagement, Talent Management, Performance Management, etc.
• In consultation with the Sr HR Business Partner, acts as a resource on various human resources matters, providing guidance, assistance and support to management, supervisors, and administrators
• In consultation with the Sr HR Business Partner, addresses ad hoc compliance matters, including but not limited to: job description evaluation processing, new job description creation, compensation determination for staff level roles, equity review and market evaluation requests.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Shared Services to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Assists in the design and facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives specifically focused on increasing organizational, team, and individual performance throughout staff.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required
• Should possess 3-5 years of progressively responsible HR management experience
• SHRM-CP preferred
• Effective communications and collaborative problem-solving strategies to prevent or resolve employee relations issues
• Interest and aptitude for project and change management, specifically the ability to build organizational capability and effectiveness through HR solutions
• Strong time management and priorities management skills
• Superior PC skills in a Windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email programs
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Advanced knowledge and experience with use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
