PROGRAM DIRECTOR for MSBA-BA in Greater Washington, D.C. Metro Area
The Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech is introducing a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics (MSBA-BA) in the Greater Washington, D.C. metro area (GWDC). We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial-minded individual for the Program Director position of MSBA-BA. This position will work closely with the other graduate program directors in the college and the university, especially in the GWDC region. The Program Director will be responsible for recruiting and retaining students, marketing the program, working with industry, solidifying the curriculum and faculty necessary to teach in the program, and coordinating the integration of part-time, full-time traditional students and international students in the program. The director is expected to establish relationships with corporate, industry or government agencies and sponsors. The MSBA-BA includes an international component, and the director will be in charge of coordinating and expanding the relationship between Virginia Tech and partner institutions for this program.
- A Master’s degree in business or in a technical field
- Extensive industry or educational experience in consulting or government contracting, project management, and/or business intelligence and analytics.
- High level of professionalism, organizational skills, initiative, and follow through.
- Excellent communication skills.
- PhD in business or technical field
- Experience in higher education, program administration and management, student recruitment and enrollment management, marketing and outreach. Experience working with international students and global education, faculty and staff. Strong analytical skills.
