Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION The Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator is responsible for helping UNCF staff manage Salesforce by understanding the needs of the organization, partnering with the departments to help them think strategically about their use of Salesforce as a business tool to streamline business processes and functions, detailing business requirements, and effectively translating and implementing those in Salesforce. The Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator will possess both strategic and tactical Salesforce skills to understand how changes may impact entire user universe and then develop, test and deploy solutions, applying best practices.ABOUT UNCF The United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the nations largest and most effective minority education organization, has been an engine of minority educational achievement for more than 70 years. Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity inplatform applications.Research new releases of Salesforce and understand how they impact our organization.Use troubleshooting skills to resolve functional and technical issues.Develop, run, update and export Salesforce reports and dashboards to support and monitor daily activity and key performance measures.Data manipulation and import and export data using Data Loader and/or Demand Tools.Manage ongoing support requests and Salesforce administrative needs.Provide ongoing training and support for Associate Business Analyst and Business Users.Manage Salesforce Customer Community and Salesforce Partner Community.Manage Salesforce integrations with products such as Conga Composer, Informatica, RollupHelper, Active Campaign - 3rd Party app management.Support users across multiple programs.Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities to further utilize Salesforce/ AppExchange to achieve business goals.Collaborate with business users and units on the features they want to see developed and implemented to better improve their Salesforce user experience.Lead requirements gathering and development applying technology to satisfy business needs.Participate in the design of data integration to connect Salesforce and other systems.Interface with vendor partners and design optimal solutions for integration with Salesforce.Document changes to the design and implementation of Salesforce.Implement the latest Salesforce features to ensure we are taking full advantage of offerings, including leading the transition from Salesforce Classic to the Lightning Experience.Determine plan and timeline for implementation of approved Change Management cases. Develop, test and deploy approved solutions, applying best practices.Lead meetings to revisit application success factors and ensure incorporation of additional user requirements.Other responsibilities or projects assigned by manager. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred; Five (5) years of Salesforce Administration required; Salesforce Certification desired. Knowledge and SkillsOrganized and results focused - will become the subject matter expert of scholarship applications & student tracking applications/tools to ensures that business needs/requirements are addressed by UNCF IT and its vendors. Demonstrated experience with Salesforce database application practices, techniques, and standards. Demonstrated proficiency with analytical and data management skills and a high degree of initiative, including the ability to quickly respond to ad hoc requests and perform research, analyses, and distilling results from large amounts of information/data. Experience with designing and building new database applications and tables and demonstrated proficiency with report design skills. Demonstrated experience working in a rapid development environment. Salary range: $78,000 - $88,000, commensurate with experience
