About The Position: We are seeking an experienced Purchase Loan Officer to join our branch team at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. Ideally, this individual is humble, hungry, smart and is somebody who loves to originate loans. This teammate will be expected to take loan applications, structure loans, research guidelines, lock rates, develop and maintain realtor relationships, etc. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, can thrive under pressure, work quickly, and who is goal-oriented. It is important that this person is comfortable with daily phone calls, inside sales, in-person meetings and events. Existing MLO License in good standing. Responsibilities Take complete loan application Structure loans by researching guidelines and using resources available Complete income analyses from tax returns, pay stubs, and W2s, understand how to read asset statements, catch red flags, run AUS, etc. Meet with clients and present options, including a detailed review of estimate(s) Price and lock interest rates Communicate directly with borrowers and referral partners Attend marketing events, open houses, meet and greets Make daily inside sales calls to database, pipeline, and leads
