The Property and Asset Management team (BPM) is responsible for executing each multifamily asset s business plan developed in the acquisition phase of the investment cycle. BPM was founded on the belief that the successful execution of a property s business plan can generate superior cash flow and value appreciation.The Leasing Consultant is responsible for effectively leasing apartments of the multifamily unit community. In addition to leasing activities, they also assist management with resident programs, admin, and resident retention strategies.ESSENTIALFUNCTIONSGreet, qualify, provide tours of community and present features and amenities to prospective residentsLease apartments including: Close the sale, secure leaseagreement obtains required information availability report and process applications for approval (rental history, credit check and background check)Follow up with prospects regarding statusInput information into computer systems accurately andtimelyEnsure apartment is ready for resident to move-in onagreed dateAssist the manager in the collection of delinquent rentsAssist in planning resident functionsGather information about market competition in the areaFollow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with FairHousing, state and federal lawsFollow all safety procedures and notify supervisor ofsafety hazardsSpecial projects and other responsibilities as assignedExcellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate effectively and develop relationships quicklyLeasing, sales and closing skillsCompetence in the use of standard office equipment including telephones, Internet, fax machine, and photocopierBasic computer and data-entry skillsDemonstrate strong work ethics with the ability to adapt to changeUnderstand and carry out oral and written instructionsSKILLS AND ABILITIESHigh school graduate or equivalent6 months service industry experienceRegular office work, however, occasional outside duties in all weather conditionsA highly competitive base salary;Bonus eligibility based on individual and team performance;Longer term incentives based on position and team performance:A suite of benefits including comprehensive medical, dental and vision;Concierge to help you organize your healthcare;Company matched 401K;Pet Insurance;Onsite gym and snacks at select offices;Generous paid time off including parental leave.
