Department, assisting CT patients pre and post operation.The NP/PA, with clinical expertise in cardiovascular care, performs daily evaluations of cardiac patients with consultation and collaboration from supervisory physicians. Education, consultation and research related to CT/CV procedures Coordinates patient screening and evaluation for cardiac procedure with physician team including patient care management, coordination of testing results and additional testing requirements in pre procedure evaluation phase Serves as the primary resource and point of contact for patient and family during evaluation and through procedure and recovery phase Coordinates perioperative patient management including anticoagulants and anti platelet therapy Provides education to cardiac team related to triage and post procedural patient managementHours: PRN 6:30 am - 3:30 pm; hours may varyLicensure/Experience: Current licensure as an Acute Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Maryland Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) if NP Minimum of 2 years work experience within cardiology Active BLS CPR Active PECOSJohns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employers.
