ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work in our Washington, DC office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Job Description: One of our long time IRS customers requires support to their M365 Program Management Office in the various projects under scope of the M365 Migration Program focusing on the following: * Evaluating existing SharePoint sites currently located in IRS facilities. * Determining the options to migrate individual sites to the M365 cloud. * Working with appropriate stakeholders to migrate these sites to the appropriate cloud solution. Over the course of 3 years, this work will encompass converting Nintex workflows and other custom programming to the PowerPlatform suite of products. ECS requires a Project Manager to provide successful project management skills and deliverables to the M365 Program Management Office (PMO), SharePoint Team and Government project managers to ensure successful migrations and timely completion of these projects. The Project Manager shall assist in developing and tracking Enterprise Level Cycle (ELC) and Project Management Framework (PMF) documents and artifacts to include status and updates to Operational Model, Communication Plan, Key Performance Indicators, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Schedule Plan, Lessons Learned; support project governance needs for both the Cloud and EOps Governance Boards; gather, manage, and track risks in ITRAC, and capture and track action items, among other tasks to be defined by PMO leadership. The Government reserves the right to review and approve or reject all resumes for this key personnel position prior to onboarding. Required Skills: * BS/BA Degree * Minimum of two years of experience in preparing and orchestrating SharePoint site migrations to a variety of cloud solutions (M365, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Teams conversion application) in a large corporate/government environment at the project or program level. Expert consulting resources with 10-20+ years of experience in project management reflecting increasing degrees of complexity. Experience shall reflect both strategy and execution support. * Understand the interdependencies and how to work with stakeholders to achieve timeliness, streamline workflow. * Extensive experience coordinating internal communications and tasks with stakeholders. Experience coordinating complex technology rollouts. Desired Skills: * PMP or similar certification is highly preferred. * A deep understanding of the IRS IT organization - its structure, processes, and leadership approach is preferred. * Experience working with and adhering to the Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and Program Management Framework (PMF). Experience with Federal Plain Language Guidelines, Section 508 Compliance, Internal Revenue Brand Guidelines, Service-wide Internal Communications Writing Checklist, Planning Guides and Publications is highly desirable.
