Program Manager, Supply Chain Sustainability, Hardware Circular Economy
Minimum qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent practical experience * 7 years of experience in process, research, and/or product development experience involving the study or application of sustainable and/or repairable hardware solutions * Experience in reverse logistics, manufacturing operations, industrial processes, or materials supply chains Preferred qualifications: * Master's degree in Environmental Science or a related technical and environmental degree * Experience in Lean Manufacturing * Experience working in the technology sector such as hardware manufacturing or automation * Experience in circular design, materials, reuse, recycling, and end-of-life practices and infrastructure * Knowledge of waste-related regulations About the job A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. As a Program Manager, you will develop and execute initiatives that maximize the use data center hardware and equipment. Partnering with cross-functionally with Google Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations teams as well as suppliers, you will identify ways through improvements in design, manufacturing, and delivery to reuse and repurpose materials throughout our value chain. Responsibilities * Work with suppliers to identify and execute circular economy initiatives. * Develop innovative mechanisms to recover, reuse, repair, and repurpose equipment and materials. * Lead cross-functional and multi-company teams to design and execute initiatives that will increase material recovery and reuse. * Develop circular supply chain capabilities and enablers (eg, digital and physical technology solutions, operating, and partnership model).
