Coordinator IV, Cybersecurity Governance

Description:

Plans, manages, and coordinates the complex cybersecurity governance program activities and personnel requiring multi-disciplinary collaboration and broad program scope; oversees a diverse portfolio that includes management of advisory and architecture Boards, data governance, policies, procedures, processes, business continuity, asset management, and configuration management; exercises leadership to create, design, implement, assess, and revise programs or activities of the section.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in information security such as executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for large enterprises, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
  • May be required to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, and methods related to cybersecurity governance.
  • Knowledge of related laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Skill in creating standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Skill in executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for large enterprises.
  • Skill in handling sensitive user data and information.
  • Skill in personnel, financial, and administrative management.
  • Proficiency in data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage, evaluate, and supervise program activities and personnel.
  • Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Ability to think clearly under pressure and communicate sensitive and urgent information in a clear and timely manner.
