Duties

  • You will serve as team leader responsible for assigning segments of the projects to other participants, coordinating the efforts of the team and consolidating individual efforts into complete products.
  • You will oversee and assure unity of the command's high visibility, dynamic and diverse business and planning programs, functions and processes in order to blend them into a single command strategy.
  • You will lead recruitment, employment and release of civilian personnel, including the development of the civilian hiring plan and management of the command's FTE accounts.
  • You will be the technical authority for Naval Air Force Atlantic Resources and Requirements, coordinates and participates in the programming, budgeting, funding, and manpower functions of the command.
  • You will work closely with other CNAL leader in providing continuity of leadership in assessing mission and work requirements and developing plans, goals and objectives.
  • You will participate in all NAE routine briefing and ensure that CNAL equities are represented as well as required actions by CNAL Directorates are addressed, assigned to the correct Directorate and completed.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative methodologies and techniques for the assessment and improvement of business, operational and planning program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems.
  • Experience interpreting the laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to operational support.
  • Experience negotiating effectively with all levels of management to persuade them to accept and implement recommendations.
  • Experience in military operational planning, execution and force deployment operations.
  • Experience utilizing Federal Budget and the Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) regulations, guidelines, and processes.
  • Experience planning, negotiating and briefing leaders and dignitaries at various levels.
