In this role you'll be maintaining product BOM (bill of material) configurations across multiple cross-functional programs and overseeing the engineering change control (ECR/ECO) process within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.Day to Day:Support the execution of the Engineering Change Request process (ECR/ECO) - schedule change control board (CCB) meetings, conduct pre-reviews, establish agenda, issue minutes, coordinate with cross-functional departments, process change orders to support product and process modifications.Assists the change process to minimize cycle times.Ensure PLM processes (Change Control, Deviation, SCAR, FAIR, Supplier Access, etc.) are executed in adherence to the Quality Management System and other compliance requirements.Support bill of materials (BOM) configuration management for existing and new (NPI) products.Tracks responsibility for implementation planning and forwards change notices accordingly.Verifies changes have been incorporated and all subsequent activities have been completed per the implementation plan.Develop, maintain, and conduct training for PLM processes and change management.Prepares and arranges for release of approved document and drawing revisions.Participate in critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting in support of new production introduction (NPI) and continual product improvements.Monitor and enforce the Deviation lifecycle and expiration management.Maintain and drive continuous improvement activities for configuration control tools and processes.
