Responsibilities: This role provides the unique opportunity to work on high-profile mission areas to solve strategic, high-impact, and exciting Foreign Policy challenges. In this role, you will provide communications and change management support, conduct data collection and analysis, and draft reports and other required documents.You will collaborate directly with client leaders to understand their challenges and concerns and work with them to develop solutions to improve workflows and create efficiencies. You will also assist with the development of strategic and operational plans, the implementation of process improvement efforts, and the identification of best practices to maximize performance and efficiency.The program analyst will directly work with senior government officials to devise strategies for advancing the mission. This includes identifying external stakeholders and facilitating meetings with principals and stakeholders, consolidating key data on lines of effort by respective organizations, helping align action plans and formulation of comprehensive strategies that align with US policy goals.Day to day activities may include:* Develop training materials to support new tools and processes* Facilitate trainings for new users * Develop SOPs, protocols, and templates for interagency engagement * Gather requirements for data management solutions that meet customer requirements * Build out SharePoint site to enhance internal tracking of activities and information-sharing* Contribute as appropriate to policy, strategy, and communications materials through the clearance process Qualifications: The following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role: - Active Security Clearance at the SECRET level or higher- Bachelor's degree- Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations, including training materials.- Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performance. The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role: - Experience engaging clients, some of whom are high-level diplomats, and outside stakeholders, who represent a variety of policy positions.- Experience in conducting SOP development, facilitating training and startegic planning sessions, and project mangement. - Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them.- Ability to participate in and lead client-facing discussions and meetings.- Desire to support public sector clients with a foreign assistance mission.- Advanced degree in international relations, international security studies, political science, or equivalent Additional Requirements: The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
