Overview Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Information System Security Officer (ISSO) that will be responsible for all Cyber Security aspects of a US Army Software program. The ISSO ensures that the security and privacy posture is maintained for an organizational system and works in close collaboration with the system owner. The ISSO serves as a principal advisor on all matters, technical and otherwise, involving the security and privacy controls for the system and has the knowledge and expertise to manage the security and privacy aspects of an organizational system. Responsibilities Identify the security and privacy requirements allocated to a system and to the organization For application and enforcement of IA policies, procedures and workforce development. Securely integrate and apply Department/Agency missions, organization, function, policies, and procedures within the TC-AIMS II Enterprise. Ensure that protection and detection capabilities are acquired or developed using the IS security engineering approach and are consistent with DoD Component level IA Architecture. Prepare and oversee the preparation of IA certification and accreditation documentation. Performance standards management for all IA activities. Participate in an IS risk assessment during the C&A process. Identify IT security program implications of new technologies or technology upgrades. Intrepret patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and/or overall effectiveness of the TC-AIMS II Enterprise. Evaluate and approve development efforts to ensure that baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed. Obtain and maintain all IA certification appropriate to this position. Report to the Project Manager and the government Information Assurance Manager (IAM). Qualifications Active Secret clearance required High School or equivalent (Required) BA/BS degree (Desired) CISSP Information Systems Security Management Professional (Required) Five (5) years experience in Risk Management Framework Five (5) years experience ISSO Security Clearance: Active Secret (Required) - Top Secret (Desired) Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to brief senior level customer officials.
