Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges Vertical Markets Sales Manager-Data Center.Honeywell Buildings Technology (HBT) is a leader in building automation, fire, security, energy management, and software.Within HBT, our direct sales force creates and sells integrated solutions to our customers that achieve results. Our sales approach begins by working with the end customer to identify and prioritize their desired outcomes.We help them select and define use cases that will achieve those outcomes.From there we design the integrated solution that will deliver those use cases.This Director for North America will lead a sales team to deliver on an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) of $12-15M of orders.The team will be comprised of approximately 5 Field Sales professionals.This Vertical Leader's responsibilities include Distribution Centers and Data Centers.Geography included is USA and Canada.RESPONSIBILITIESA' . Drive market growth in defined verticals within USA and Canada.A' . Meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.A' . Drive a positive and transformative mindset across the team.A' . Define and execute vertical market strategy to achieve AOP and constant year-over-year growth.A' . Develop, Coach, and Retain talented sales team members to deliver AOP.A' . Provide quality performance management if required.A' . Always be bench building.A' . Assign structured incentive quota targets for all sellers.A' . Provide accurate weekly order forecasts within Salesforce.com platform, across Install and Service lines of business.A' . Coach and mentor sales personnel to achieve:A' | Establishing professional relationships with appropriate levels of client decision makers.A' | Connection to local decision makers along with a social media presence.A' | Obtain "Trusted Advisor"A' Status at all key accounts.A' | Pipeline size and quality management.A' | Best practice sharing.A' | Focus on High Impact Activities.A' | High level of professionalism in all areas of business conduct.A' | Robust pursuit plans for each pursuit.A' . Assess team's sales activities and common operations cadence to promote sales progress and required improvements.A' . Think "Empire Builder"A' and "Problem Solver"A' .A' . Core member of the North America region Sales Leadership team.A' . Drive a common cadence within Activities and Strategies for NA.A' . Be an Employee Engagement Leader.YOU MUST HAVEA' . BA/BS degreeA' . Minimum of 5 years of quota carrying sales experience.A' . 2-3 years of proven sales leadership/management experience preferred. WE VALUEA' . Strong knowledge of the Data Center Vertical markets.A' . Ability to coach and mentor team to have a winning sales strategy for their accounts and opportunities.A' . Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, Fire, Security, and SoftwareA' . Strong skills with Salesforce.com platform.A' . Strong understanding of direct sales of integrated solutionsA' . Outcome based selling skills.A' . Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed Annual Operating PlanA' . Coaching/mentoring skills for sales professionsA' . Strong leadership skillsA' . Strong communication skillsA' . C-Level selling skillsA' . Strong knowledge of construction ecosystem. Includes general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.A' . Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.A' .
