Jira SME, QA Test LeadRate: NegotiableW2 or C2C all residency status may applyDuration: 12+ Months Email resumes to: (mailto:) Scope of Work: ALTA seeks a skilled Jira Expert, Quality Assurance Specialist with and understanding of the setup and administration of Atlassian project and collaboration tools to provide testing support of our Clients Integrated Justice Information Systems Program. The program is comprised of several complex system implementation projects, with comprehensive configuration and interconnectivity needs to incorporate each new and disparate solution under the IJIS umbrella and promote data sharing amongst the various applications. The new solutions are open systems based MS SQL, Oracle, Linux, migrating to a cloud based environment. 5+ years experience:Provide setup and systems administration support to Atlassian Jira to follow the IJIS Testing process.Creating and organizing new projects on the JIRA platform, as well as configuring the layout, design, workflow, and dashboard.Manage upgrades and improvements to the software.Execute established test plans, including User Acceptance TestingAccurately record and clearly document all actual results compared to expected results.Maintain well organized record of test results and generate historical analysis of test results.Fully document any unexpected anomalies identified in testing with instruction of how to recreate the anomaly.Develop excellent understanding of product requirements.Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.Write test scripts and test cases to meet assigned requirementsCommunicate with project managers, business analysts, technical support specialists, anddevelopers on product issuesWork with Development team to ensure that the in house code is fully testedWork with Documentation to see that all enhancements, bug fixes, and new products are documentedAdminister all testing steps and documentation properly through Atlassian JiraKnowledge and experience of Atlassian Confluence and Kanban framework preferred.
