Location: Baltimore, MDSalary: $140,000 to $170,000 plus 15% BonusDescription: Our client is currently seeking a Finance & Accounting Director This position is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)This job will have the following responsibilities:Assist with the preparation and implementation of the company's Strategic Plans, Business Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP). Direct all aspects of the Accounting Operations, including accounts payable, general ledger management, internal controls, external audits, and cash management. Ensure that transactions are recorded properly and minimize all opportunities for fraud or impropriety, including the safeguard of assets.Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements and reports, driven by tightly managed monthly/quarterly close process.Update and maintain the Company's financial policies, procedures and controls and reporting systems. Maintain a strong relationship with company's bank and accounting firm. Support monthly real estate financial operational reviewsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance a plus CMA or CPA preferred or willing to pursue Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially with a manufacturer of industrial machinery Proficient with MS Office, strong Excel skills Experience utilizing Finance & Accounting modules w/in Enterprise Planning Systems (ERP)Contact: job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
