With a professional and technical staff of over 750, the firms services are focused on the needs of governmental, educational, institutional, and private sector clients. WRA is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern in our Mechanicsburg or York PA offices to work on PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects in central and eastern Pennsylvania. Some field work will occur. A car is required for this position. Interns will receive training in preparing designs and contract documents for roadway and bridge projects, including highway and traffic design, quantities and contract document development. Requirements: Current enrollment in Civil Engineering bachelor or master program Experience with a variety of roadway modeling software particularly Inroads a plus Hands-on experience with MicroStation software a plus Exceptional communication and organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others Willingness to take on new challenges and learn more about the field Benefits: WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
