Job Description The RF Engineer will provide engineering on a range of large scale in-building DAS projects. The individual will be responsible for the design and/or technical implementation of distributed antenna systems (DAS) and other managed networks. The RF Engineer will work closely with internal teams to develop and deploy designs that meet or exceed internal and client expectations. This position will be responsible for the following: Create, optimize, and review designs for cellular and public safety DAS networks Assist with creation of ROMs and BOMs across different networks Creation of carrier packages to be sent to wireless carriers for approval Perform site surveys and benchmark testing and provide comprehensive reports with analysis and recommendations Support network installation team in installation, configuration, etc. of networks Perform CW testing and spectrum analysis as well as PIM and OTDR testing as required Assist Senior RF Engineers in complex cellular and public safety DAS commissioning, troubleshooting, and remote monitoring Assist wireless carriers in optimization of DAS Perform DAS maintenance to include fault analysis, interference mitigation, and link balancing Validate installation of DAS head-end, remote equipment, RF source, etc. Create and review closeout documentation for all completed projects Optimize engineering processes and assistance in maintaining an updated set of deliverable templates Travel will be required to customer sites (80% field, 20% remote) Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical or Computer Engineering, preferred) Two or more years of work experience in telecommunications industry, preferably working in the in-building DAS market iBwave design experience for cellular and public safety networks OEM experience with JMA, ADRF, CommScope, Comba, Fiplex, Nextivity, and SOLiD LTE and 5G experience preferred Experience with commissioning, optimizing, and troubleshooting DAS networks Experience using iBwave design software, spectrum analyzer, RF scanner, CW signal generator UE data collection, and post-processing software Experience and understanding of RF propagation fundamentals and antenna theory Excellent communications, interpersonal, presentation skills, and the ability to work on complex technical problems If you re looking for a career with a fast-growing company that s invested in your personal development, a solid compensation package and a huge opportunity to move up within an organization, please apply below.
