As an HRIS Specialist directly supporting our HR team you will support staff throughout the US This role will focus on troubleshooting and resolving system issues, answering end-user questions, and collaborating with functional and regional teams to deliver enhancements to Workday and the Applicant Tracking System. The role involves knowledge of various Workday modules (HCM data and organizational structures, Compensation, Absence, Time and Leave, Performance Management, and Talent Management), in order to connect a new onboarding module, advanced report creation, integration support, business process design, configuration, and data management. HRIS Specialist Responsibilities Participate in HRIS projects supporting HR from start to finish while understanding business needs, and system requirements and managing the projects to achieve target scope and delivery deadline Partner closely with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of process and pain points As an HR team member maintain data integrity by providing audit reports and making corrections within the database Responsible for delivery of training on the system for all stakeholders and users to ensure adoption and understanding Performs routine administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Process, troubleshoot, and support various HR transactions, and HRIS self-service including onboarding, transfers, reorganizations, new hires, terminations, promotions, spot bonuses, and pay changes. Participate in change management efforts for business-critical Workday processes and make Workday the primary system of record for all employee data Execute daily maintenance activities including but not limited to role assignments, security audits, organization set, etc. Provide appropriate design documentation related and testing plans/scripts, interface development Work with HR and corporate Workday team to ensure data integrity through audits and proper timely documentation Provide user support, process mapping/documentation, and training for system enhancements and processing procedures Create, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs Offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity across various systems Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting all aspects of HR systems HRIS Specialist Qualifications Bachelor's degree 2+ years of HRIS experience, and past work with Workday required Knowledge of Workday business process configuration a plus Strong to proficient Computer Software (SW) Skills: o Personal computer equipment o Overall Business SW (eg MS-Office Suite, Adobe, documentation management system, HRIS, ATS, Benefits systems) Ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems Excellent analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail Well-developed communication skills Demonstrated strong customer focus Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills Proven experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, colleagues, and managers Preferred Qualifications: Functional understanding of core HR business terminology and practices.
