Senior Field Engineer (Field Engineer II) As a small and rapidly growing company, PWTech is seeking employees who are adaptable, flexible, hardworking, and motivated by the challenge of being an integral part of growing a business. This role will ideally suit someone with a few years of relevant experience. Your primary role will be to provide technical support for our equipment installation as well as start- up services at water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout the USA. Daily tasks will involve: Results analysis and report writing Commissioning installations of new equipment Technical service visits to include troubleshooting and repairs Extensive Travel will be part of this job. This position can be based remotely, but it is anticipated that you will spend up to 3 weeks a month on the road traveling throughout the US each week. (Generally, Monday thru Friday)). This job involves working predominantly in industrial or municipal wastewater or water treatment facilities when in the field. Key performance indicators for this job will be: Using experience, critical thinking and basic engineering principles to independently assess and resolve technical problems with equipment and processes in the wastewater treatment industry. Analyzing a wide variety of facility processes and determining appropriate physical and chemical options for treatment. Ability to independently manage personal scheduling and travel to accommodate customer needs and site requirements. Generating required documentation (ie, data and reports) in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and minimal corrections required. Developing a rapport with customers and other stakeholders in the field and presenting PWTech in the best possible light. A high level of proficiency in written/spoken English, and a high level of computer literacy utilizing Word, Excel, Outlook. Requirements: The following requirements are MANDATORY: 2 or more years experience in the water or wastewater industry maintaining / operating / testing / starting full scale equipment. (not a Lab based position) A STEM degree with preference given to engineering, biology, chemistry or related. A current USA Drivers license and a clean driving record. The ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening. The ability to travel 80% of the time, 12 months per year. Knowledge of water treatment chemistry, microbiology, and modern water and wastewater treatment processes Practical trade skills, including any mechanical/plumbing/electrical experience The following experience/skills are highly relevant to this job but are NOT mandatory: 2 or more years experience in performing pilot testing, commissioning, or technical service for industrial process equipment. Familiarity and experience with industrial automation including PLC/HMI troubleshooting, networking, and control panels Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year COVID-19 considerations: Proof of vaccination required for employment
