Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Clinical Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

The Clinical Manager will serve as both clinical and administrative supervisor for all 8 inpatient therapy staff/units. Provides clinical supervision services for clinicians providing direct services that include psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy sessions, interdisciplinary treatment and transition and discharge process. This clinical manager will also assist in establishing performance metrics, monitoring progress, ensuring Federal and State Regulations are upheld.

As a Clinical Manager you will:
•Supervise all inpatient therapy staff, including documentation and case review
•Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families as needed
•Participate in an interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
•Assesses and intervenes in cases of suspected/disclosed child/adult neglect/abuse issues. Documents services provided and disseminates information/reports to community referral sources and agencies, i.e., DJJ, DSS, HHS, APS, CPS, LCC, etc.
•Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process. Promotes positive patient-family-community relations
•Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and/or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, and staff safety and stability
•Serves as liaison between inpatient therapy team and leadership staff

Qualifications:
•Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent master's degree in a recognized health field
•Minimum of 2 years of Experience
•Minimum of 1 year of leadership or management experience
•License Clinical Social Worker-C (LCSW-C) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland
•Supervisory Credential assigned by the State Board of Social Workers or the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors
