If you have a consumer-focused marketing background, thrive in white space while also being able to successfully execute on a project, we would love to hear from you.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMResponsibilitiesThe Marketing and Communications - Marketing Strategy - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilitiesWrite, prepare, and/or review messaging grounded in insights to be used in marketing communications supporting policy, technology, and other updates.Stay informed of changes in the marketing environment. Make suggestions and assist with implementation of multi-channel marketing plans to serve the business objectives. Communicate with stakeholders as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional partners - other marketing strategists, creative and media agencies, internal copywriters and art directors, social media strategists, legal and compliance, business partners.Create and convey brand messages, as well as improve brand awareness.Participate in research, coordinate market research projects and identify of changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies.Desired ExperiencesBachelor's degree or equivalentSkillsThe group of skills related to Sales, Marketing, and PR including marketing products, social media marketing, creating collateral, planning, and developing campaigns, managing the media, etc.Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understandAdept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completionThe group of skills related to Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.The group of skills related to Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as ExcelWorking with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goalThe group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflictToolsExperience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or other web-based collaboration toolsExperience using Workfront Fusion or other project management toolsSkilled in the Office Suite of tools (ie, Word, PPT, Excel)Additional InformationIn response to COVID-19, Fannie Mae has adapted our workplace and hiring processes to better safeguard our employees, candidates, and new hires.
