The ideal candidate will be a multi-faceted researcher with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research. As part of The Marketing Research and Insights team, you will help drive Fannie Mae's marketing strategy by providing insights on the housing industry"A cents € from renters and homebuyers to lenders to investors. You will work with a collaborative team that seeks to uncover meaningful truths, untangle complex issues and challenges, and provide answers that inform action.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEResponsibilitiesThe Marketing -Research Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilitiesConduct research and compile data that drives decision making and a better understanding of the housing market, along with lender, homebuyer, homeowner and renter behavior, attitudes and perceptions. Drive actionable research through collaboration with stakeholders to identify and define objectives and determine the best methodologies to meet those objectives.Develop and present strategic recommendations of research findings that will have an industry impact to executive leadership.Bring complex issues to life by reporting findings in innovative ways using data visualization, video, verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.Conduct tracking and evaluation studies to measure marketing campaign success.Compile secondary research related to the industry landscape.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences5-7 years marketing research experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentDesired ExperiencesMarketing research agency or enterprise experience in mortgage, housing, financial services industriesCollaborative styleSkillsAnalyze and synthesize data to identify insights that drive marketing and business strategy.Quantitative: Develop and execute surveys, run data analysis, draw insights and implications that impact marketing and business strategyQualitative: Develop and execute focus group and in-depth interview projects that get at the mindset of target audiences to understand them from a human-first perspectiveAbility to understand business objectives/questions and scope/recommend the appropriate learning agenda and methodologies. Experience with research to inform marketing decisions preferredAbility to understand and simplify complex subject matterComfortable with ambiguity, enjoys projects that evaluate new ideas in an experimental environment and the challenge of solving complex problemsExperience with multi-cultural market research best practicesSkilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understandToolsExperience using SharePointSkilled in Excel and PowerPointExperienced in SPSSAdditional InformationThis is a hybrid position.REF11151MIn response to COVID-19, Fannie Mae has adapted our workplace and hiring processes to better safeguard our employees, candidates, and new hires.
