Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Mid-Level Linux System Administrator to support a no-fail mission for the Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This person will join the team tasked with supporting and protecting the warfighter in cyberspace within the National Military Command Center (NMCC) Command and Control System (NCCS). In order to be readily equipped to help the team carry out these major tasks and technology assignments, this person must be heavily experienced in system administration and cybersecurity, including but not limited to the following areas: * Monitoring and maintaining the efficiency and functionality of Enterprise Linux Operating Systems (RHEL), associated system software, supporting tools, middleware, and privilege sets * Development and installation of RHEL operating systems and associated system software; migrating application subsystems to determine functional requirements * Ensuring all hardware and software are compliant with DISA standards including: * Implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) * Supporting Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) * Experience communicating with customers and coordinating with the development teams on systematic enhancements or changes * Experience evaluating and recommending the use of software, guidelines, procedures, and development of project plans to lower-level staff to offer prompt resolution options, patch management, version control, and administrative systems expertise Required Clearances/Certifications: * TS/SCI Eligible * CompTIA Security+ Required Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline PLUS 4 years of experience, of which at least 3 years must be specialized experience in administering computer systems -OR- * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline plus 2 years of specialized experience -OR- * 7 years equivalent experience providing system/database administration support to include custom application development
