We're currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team as we pursue industrial real estate investments. This person will be responsible for maintaining properties and transitioning tenants as we expand our portfolio. In this role, the candidate will be our main point of contact at properties, coordinating on-site work as necessary. This position would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of an innovative real estate company with a unique investment strategy. This is a full-time position that will work in the field and out of our Bethesda, Maryland office, reporting to the Managing Partner in charge of construction. What you'll do in this role * Oversee daily operations and physical management of properties in the DC Metro * Coordinate transition and turnover of newly acquired properties * Create and maintain positive relationships with all tenants and vendors * Be proactive and responsive in addressing tenant requests * Perform periodic site inspections and review proposed remediation plans * Work with accounting to prepare monthly operating reports and explain variances * Coordinate on-site work with consultants and trade partners, tenants, and county inspectors What we're looking for you to have * 5+ years of experience in Property Management * Demonstrated track record of success and reliability * Ability to interpret contract documents and mediate disputes * Ability to lift 50 pounds to accommodate various tasks on the job site * Excellent communication skills, and the ability to compose internal memos for team members Compensation & Benefits * Competitive annual compensation commensurate with experience * Eligible for performance-based bonuses * Group Health Insurance
