Trustpoint One has partnered with AmLaw ranked law firm in their search for a Senior Litigation Trial Paralegal! This prestigious firm is seeking a candidate with an excellent academic record and supervisory experience to lead a team of junior paralegals through the litigation process.The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing and attending trials. Ideal candidates will also have experience GOING to trial and managing a team of junior paralegals.ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessmentsDraft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the courtPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc)Maintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendicesAid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesLiaise between trial teams and internal/external third partiesHelp with voir dire, jury selection and witnesses preparationProvide assistance with case settlementsSkillsProven working experience as a litigation paralegalApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etcHighly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailExtensive computer and database expertiseBachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate strongly preferredRequirements:Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Legal Project Management (LPM)Certificate, or equivalent desirableextensive blue booking and cite checking is REQUIREDIf you are interested in learning more about this position, please submit your resume below!
