Dispatcher / Customer Service Family owned and well-established alarm system company needs your Dispatching experience to contribute to the strategic development of this organization. You will be responsible for technician dispatching, prioritizing, scheduling, customer service, tech closeout, customer follow up. This position will also be responsible for clerical support. What Qualifications We Are Looking For: A Friendly, Helpful Attitude. A Problem-Solver. Ability to work well with others. Two (2) plus years of experience in Customer Service and call dispatching Proficient with Windows 10 and experience with MS Office, various software and\or database programs Strong oral & written communication skills Attention to accuracy and detail Well organized, effective at multi-tasking Ability to prioritize and handle a fast-paced work environment Ability to pass background check Time Management Handling inquiries and incoming work requests Reviewing files and records to answer requests for information Checking and distributing documents and correspondence Job Requirements: Answering and making phone calls Taking and distributing messages Handling inquiries and incoming work requests Reviewing files and records to answer requests for information Checking and distributing documents and correspondence Maintaining filing systems Compiling records of office activities Photocopying, scanning, and faxing Sending emails Typing documents and correspondence Checking and entering data Updating and maintaining databases Coordinating workflow Keeping office area neat and tidy Answer inbound calls for customer service Work with customers and\or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment Relay work orders, messages, and information to and from field technicians, supervisors and field inspectors using telephones or two-way radios Determine level of urgency, escalate service calls as necessary Prepare and update daily work orders in company database system Follow up with customers as needed Coordinate work order processing with Purchasing Departments and Accounting Departments as needed When You Will Work: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm Major Holidays with Paid Leave Education and Experience Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Proficient in use of email and internet Good numeracy skills Accurate keyboard skills Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Knowledge of administrative procedures High school diploma or equivalent Our company is an equal opportunity employer with a drug free workplace.
