Job Summary: 
Westat is seeking a Front End/UI developer to become a part of our IT team to implement user interfaces for web and mobile business solutions using innovative technologies, and tools. 

This position is full time and eligible for a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Participating in the design and development of Web based business applications. 
•    Writing clean, functional & secure code.
•    Work collaboratively with a team and communicate well.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, information technology or quantitative field.
•    One year of experience or equivalent coursework in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Knowledge or experience working with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap. 
•    Experience or knowledge of Web development frameworks like ASP.NET. 
•    Knowledge of JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as VueJS, ReactJS or similar.
•    Knowledge or experience with any programming language like C#, Python, Java or similar. 
•    Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server and knowledge of XML and JSON data formats.   

Minimum Qualifications: 
•    Excellent analytical and technical skills with a high attention to detail.
•    Strong communication skills.
