A$ A' "A' ?Scope:Looking for candidates who want to work in the booming Electric Vehicle (EV) industry.The right candidate will work on EV charge equipment for the leading US manufacturer of DC fast charging equipment and get a chance to work with a cross functional team to develop embedded firmware for EV charge equipment.Job Responsibilities:Expertise on complete processes involved in the Embedded Development CycleDevelop embedded firmware on microchip PIC 32 devicesUnderstand the Project System Requirements & Gather FunctionalRequirements:Design and Write CodeDevelop product specifications, system level state machine flowsConduct Troubleshooting and DebuggingCollaborate with Design and Development TeamsEnhance System Efficiency and ReliabilityDesign and write the embedded software as per the requirements of the clientWork in close association with the clients to understand their needsAbility to manage multiple projects.Skills & Qualifications Required:B.S in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentMinimum of 5 years' experienceExcellent programming skills in C/C++Excellent knowledge on Compilers, Debuggers for different micro-controllersFamiliarity with CAN, UART, RS232, RS485, I2C and SPIAutomotive embedded ECU software development experienceMust have knowledge on RTOS, RAM, ROM, Linkers, Build process, Memory mapMultithreaded programming skillsShould have knowledge on software testing, analytical problem solving and debugging skillsExperience of using debuggers test equipment like DSO function generator and tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.Knowledge of Linux will be an added advantageGIT for version controlGood interpersonal skill & quick learning ability. Excellent communication skillLocation:This position is based out of Reston, VA at one of our client's largest customer's offices. Workspace will be provided in the lab at the customer's site. 30% travel will be required to visit the company's headquarters based in Southern California
