Overview: Our client, Virginia's largest institution of higher education, is looking to add a Business Analyst/Project Manager. The Business Analyst/Project Manager is a full time, 1 year contracted position offering a full benefit package (to include health, dental, 401K). Responsibilities: Business Analyst (Hybrid role of Analyst and PMO lead): Maintain IT Project Request Intake business processes (form, partner communications standards, etc.)Conduct review of all IT project requests with business stakeholders and IT stakeholdersManage Project Management Review Board Meeting Schedule & MinutesCommunicate approval, rejection or deferral of IT project requestsEstablish MOAs and maintain documentation (MOA is an internal business agreement capture commitments and roles/responsibilities of parties involved)Delegate projects to PM teamMaintain PM status reportResolve Escalate issues Reported by PM TeamStaff ManagementManage Technical Review Board Meeting schedule & minutes (adjunct to PM Review Board; necessity/cadence TBD)Flexibility in role responsibilitiesCustomer centric attitude with ability to refine business request from strategic perspective; think bigger picture where necessaryProactive and demonstrates adaptability in aligning function of role with business needsProject Management (Technical Implementation):Manage all New IT project implementationManage stakeholder communications after Business Analyst hand-offProvide status reports to business analystReport escalated issues to business analystCoordinate technical training to functional unit service ownerTransition completed projects to appropriate functional unit service owner Qualifications: Good working knowledge of core productivity service platforms (Microsoft Office-365, Microsoft Project/Visio)General understanding of common enterprise technical service environments
