What You'll Do: Primarily involved with assisting staff with management of engineering/construction inspection projectsResponsibilities include assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and invoicingAssist with management of project progress with respect to budget and collection efforts. Additional responsibilities include business development with a focus on maintaining regular client contactsOther duties may include assisting with or performing the following with limited supervision:Performing boring layoutsPreparing drilling packages and obtaining utility clearancesPerform research on local geologic historyAssisting with drill rig supervision and rig access issuesPerforming in-situ testingClassifying soilsDetermining and/or performing appropriate laboratory testsGeotechnical Analysis and calculationsAssisting with preparing geotechnical engineering reports and proposals What We're Looking For: BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university; MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred, other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited0-2 years of related experienceEngineer in Training (EIT) license would go a long way Who We Are: Founded in 1988, Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental, and facilities engineering.
