Overview: Acuity, Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated Program Manager with 10+ years of experience leading IT modernization and sustainment projects. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion. Proactive and transparent communication and willingness to take accountability for the team's delivery are paramount for success with the client. Responsibilities: This supervisory position oversees multiple workstreams and supporting technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Azure and ServiceNow. This multi-vendor team maintains and optimizes systems infrastructure and operations support for a dynamic government customer IT environment. Using your hands-on IT operations experience you will help support a continuous IT modernization and process improvement effort to optimize the customer's next-generation cloud-integrated environment. The Program Manager will:Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned leads to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiativesIdentify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendorsDevelop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectivesWork with project managers and leads, to identify risks and opportunities, as well as dependencies across multiple projects within the departmentAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholdersCreate a cohesive, engaged, high performing, hybrid team whose workstreams work in harmonyRemove impediments for team progress and delivery, including but not limited to requirements gathering, problem resolution, written and oral communications, staff oversight, and managing daily tasking Qualifications: 10+ years of experience leading development and migration efforts across multiple project teams simultaneouslySolid technical leadership skills and ability to confidently and professionally interface with a variety of personality types to build consensusAbility to communicate effectively (verbal and written) across technical and functional teamsStrong familiarity with Technology, Infrastructure, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologiesProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationEducation:Bachelors or appropriate relevant experiencePreferred Skills:Familiarity with Department of StateExperience with Atlassian tools
