We have an open and non-hierarchical culture, trust people walking in the door, and learn from one another.Apply to this position if you like to:Support a program management office overseeing the modernization of federal systemsWork directly with, support and act as an advocate for the client during discussions with the development teamProvide clear communication and guidance to a group that has primarily used a waterfall project structure, now moving to a SAFe/scaled Agile approachTeach, facilitate, collaborate and mentor teams on all things Agile, helping to bring standard methodologies into the organizationClearly explain the difference between a waterfall project and SAFe/scaled Agile project, helping the client go from an as-is mindset to a to-be understanding of the new frameworkProvide knowledge and expertise around Lean and Agile processes, coaching key roles within the organization to be self-sufficient in day-to-day operations and practices related to enterprise-wide transformationsAssist the project team with all aspects of large-scale Agile transformations and sophisticated Agile deliveryPartner closely with Senior Leadership and roles such as Portfolio Leads, Product Management, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Scrum Masters to establish agile routines and practices that transforms the organization to run agile at scale, Integration/Continuous Development, DevOps and automationHelp team members work together efficiently to achieve a common goal while teaching, mentoring and coaching teams in Agile practices. Assist leaders and teams at all levels of the organization to set Agile strategy, and help them understand and articulate the benefits of working in AgileWork with the teams to develop a product roadmap while collaborating with FSA stakeholdersThoughtfully facilitate group dynamics and communications, regardless of the audience, and ensure that every voice is heard and heededAssist clients with Agile delivery understanding and the development of Agile and scaled Agile processes, tools, and controlsUse metrics, KPI's, and other data points to assist in making project decisionsAct as a liaison between the client and development team to assist with clear requirement communication and understanding Act as an advocate for the client during development discussions, and support the team by translating items that may be confusing or unclear Work closely with stakeholders to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issuesCommunicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidenceDevelop meeting agendas, facilitate customer meetings, and capture and distribute notesRequirements for this position include:Education: Bachelor's degree in related fieldExperience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice Experience as or in support of a Product Owner in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) project environment a plusExperience in an Agile environment required; complex organization experience preferredBackground in product development and/or product/program delivery preferred Understand Agile and SAFe methodologies and how this relates to an agile teamCertifications in Agile needed (SAFe Certified, Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.)Experience with Agile and PM tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, etc.) Experience with DevOps, Automated Testing, Change Management or Design Thinking preferredExcellent verbal, written and virtual communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to hold a federal clearancePublic Trust (6c) clearance preferredUS Citizenship requiredWe offer a collaborative and rewarding work environment where we value your input, experience, and professional development.
